Sheikah Script Translator
Translate English into Sheikah, the glowing ancient script on shrines and Sheikah technology in Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
About Sheikah
The Sheikah script is the glowing blue writing of ancient technology in Breath of the Wild, etched across shrines, Guardians, towers and the Sheikah Slate itself. Ten thousand years old in-universe, it hums with the energy of a civilisation that was too advanced for its own good.
Fans decoded it within weeks of launch: it is a substitution alphabet for English, hiding messages in every shrine wall. Krunes renders your words in clean Sheikah-style glyphs, best viewed glowing, obviously.
- Decoded Sheikah text in BotW includes jokes and even the word “dungeon” on shrine entrances.
- The eye-with-teardrop symbol of the Sheikah predates the script by many games.
- Sheikah towers and the Slate display live “boot text” in the script.
- Tears of the Kingdom quietly swapped much of it for Zonai script, a future Krunes addition.
