About Ogham
Ogham is Ireland’s ancient alphabet, rows of notches cut along the edge of standing stones, read from the bottom up. Roughly 400 ogham stones survive across Ireland and western Britain, most carved between the 4th and 6th centuries, usually bearing names of people and clans.
Medieval scholars called it the “tree alphabet”, giving each letter a tree name: beith (birch), dair (oak), coll (hazel). Krunes writes your words in genuine Unicode ogham, complete with the traditional feather marks ᚛ ᚜ that open and close an inscription.
